The Djembe Fest ✩ SAMAJAM is a classic SAMAJAM signature event, thrilling crowds for over 20 years: a collective, festive, inclusive and 100% participatory musical experience, designed to bring together, through the collective playing of percussion, audiences at festivals, cities and RCMs, parks, public events and cultural broadcasting.

Guided by an African master percussionist and accompanied by professional SAMAJAM artists, participants discover the world of the djembe, learn the basics and create powerful and catchy rhythms together.

Accessible to all, without any musical prerequisites, this unique event, in the format of shows or workshops, reveals the richness of African rhythmic traditions through an immersive, dynamic and unifying cultural experience.

In workshop format (30 to 45 minutes each) or performance format (60 minutes), depending on your needs, each participant receives a djembe drum and becomes an active participant in the experience. The SAMAJAM artists guide the group towards the collective creation of authentic and engaging rhythms.
