iRockStar SAMAJAM > YOU are the Show is a 100% participatory musical experience where YOU – the participants – become the real Stars of the evening, actively performing more than 90% of the time, on several of the biggest global Pop/Rock hits.

Each segment of this immersive show is a thrilling musical adventure, where each participant takes on energetic and daring participatory musical challenges. Created and completed collectively, these challenges include active playing on various percussion instruments, captivating rhythmic patterns, vocal interaction, the creation of surprising collective musical pieces, and – a Quebec first – SAMAJAM Musical Video Games, inspired by our major international shows.

True to our distinctive style, we offer three (3) different percussion instruments, which everyone will have the opportunity to play at full power during key moments of the show, guided by our musicians and our video games.

This engaging and unifying show-experience is suitable for participants of all ages and requires no prior musical knowledge!

✩ WHAT PARTICIPANTS WILL EXPERIENCE ✩

1 > They will actively participate in a collective, interactive, and intense musical experience lasting 60 to 90 minutes. The audience will be the main actor in this unique, world-class musical experience.

2 >They will quickly learn to play three (3) different percussion instruments together, specially designed for the show. These instruments are included in a SAMAJAM music bag, placed on each seat. No prior musical skills are necessary, only enthusiasm and a desire to have fun!

3 > They will actively play these percussion instruments for approximately 90% of the show. The performance is highly interactive and engaging, encouraging each participant to fully experience it.

4 > They will be led by a full Pop/Rock band, composed of several international SAMAJAM artists with successful careers in singing, playing multiple stage instruments, and performing in front of a crowd. These experienced professionals—forming the SAMAJAM Rock Band—will guide the audience through the experience, ensuring an electrifying and truly memorable atmosphere.

5 > They will experience the SAMAJAM musical video game technology, played collectively on screens. This innovative technology – directly derived from the international SAMAJAM shows – offers a new dimension to audience interaction and engagement, allowing everyone to participate in an unforgettable collective musical experience.

Le spectacle iRockStar SAMAJAM > YOU are the Show is designed to adapt to the needs and preferences of your group, regardless of its size, the location of the activity or the language spoken. Based on our experience, we are able to quickly offer you the most suitable format for your evening, taking into account the profile of your group and your budget. In general, here is what we offer:

✩ 60 to 90 minutes:

  • Including animation blocks with three (3) different musical instruments (percussion)

  • Shows for corporate events and theatres
  • For Holiday Parties | Festive Evenings | Conferences | Galas and Theatres

  • Minimum : 75 participants
  • Maximum: No limit
  • On average: Between 200 and 800 participants

  • Throughout Quebec and Canada

  • English and French

  • Everyone can participate, regardless of their age group.
  • No prior musical skills required

  • All year round by the experienced SAMAJAM team
  • Louis Bellemare, founder of SAMAJAM: On tour from September to December 2023 only

  • Primarily determined by the number of people, the instruments chosen, and the location of the activity.

This participatory performance-experience is usually offered in the evening.

If your event also includes a cocktail reception and dinner on-site for your guests and/or employees before the SAMAJAM show, we offer several interesting entertainment options to complement different types of evenings, namely:

✩ RED CARPET ROUNDUP FOR WELCOMING GUESTS INTO THE RECEPTION ROOM

  • Upon opening the doors: Surprise entrance into the hall, to the rhythm of African or Brazilian percussion.
  • With the musicians SAMAJAM forming a guard of honor with percussion instruments
  • A musical welcome for participants, setting the tone for the evening!
