AN EXTRAORDINARY SHOW
AMAZING CAREER OPPORTUNITY AS AN ARTIST SAMAJAM

We’re looking for multi-talented artists to perform our great musical, educational and 100% participatory show, in its various formats: School | Diffusion Quebec Canada | International Tours.

Step #1: FORM OF INTEREST

Including your basic information as requested below.

Step #2: PRE-SELECTION + AUDITION

Successful candidates will receive the Complete SAMAJAM audition kit.

Step #3: SELECTION & TRAINING

Selected candidates will begin a period of paid training, initially at home with the script and all the training videos, closely supervised by an individual distance trainer. They will have to learn the show by heart, in order to arrive ready for training | Group staging, with musical and technical equipment.

Step #4: CERTIFICATION

A final “exam” show follows the entire training process, to achieve official SAMAJAM Artist Certification allowing them to perform the show, in both languages, anywhere in the world.

… ON STAGE!

The first shows will take place throughout Quebec (and Canada), in school format. Then, depending on availability and ease of interpretation, short and increasingly frequent international tours will be offered, to play on big stages, on every continent.

STAGE ACCOMPLICES WANTED

ARTIST #1 (SAM)

ANIMATOR(TRICE) | PERCUSSIONIST
WITH BASIC ACTING SKILLS

Researched profile of the character :

  • Men or women | All ethnic backgrounds
  • Role age range: 18 to 30
  • Must have knowledge of music theory, proficiency in percussion, and an excellent sense of rhythm
  • Exceptional ability to communicate directly and dynamically with audiences, combining great charisma with communicative energy
  • Must be able to perform short comic scenes with ease
  • Aptitude à réaliser des chorégraphies de danse simples
  • Condition physique excellente exigée, avec une bonne endurance cardio-vasculaire
  • Doit maîtriser parfaitement le français (pour le Québec).
  • Une maîtrise de l’anglais est nécessaire pour les tournées canadiennes et internationales
  • Ability to perform simple dance choreography
  • Excellent physical condition required, with good cardiovascular stamina

    DRUMMER

    • Professional drummer
    • Ability to handle musical sequences
    • Must be able to perform short comic scenes with ease
    • Ability to perform simple dance choreography
    • Excellent physical condition required, with good cardiovascular endurance
    • Must be fluent in French (for Quebec).
    • Basic command of English is required for Canadian and international tours
