A live music show where the audience performs the show.

SAMAJAM ✩ YOU are the Show is a 100% participatory musical experience where each spectator receives a music bag containing 3 percussion instruments and actively performs in every segment. No musical skill is required.

Guided by two artists on stage, screen projections, and interactive SAMAJAM musical video games, the audience builds the music together, segment by segment: rhythm games, musical challenges, body percussion, songs, and a Musical World Tour inspired by the rhythms of 8 countries and regions.

The result is a high-energy, collective performance where your audience becomes the music stars of the show.

Here is what every audience member receives, plays, and experiences during the show.

✩ A SAMAJAM Music Bag waiting on every seat
✩ 3 percussion instruments for every audience member: Tambourine, ClavSticks, and SAMAJAM Music Tube
✩ 100% active audience participation from beginning to end
✩ Collective rhythm games led by the artists on stage
✩ Body percussion, songs, and musical challenges
✩ Giant interactive musical video games played by the audience
✩ Comedic sketches that keep the room laughing
✩ Large-screen visual projections guiding every beat
✩ A Musical World Tour inspired by rhythms of 8 countries and regions
✩ A finale where the whole room plays as one
✩ No musical skill required

An all-ages experience for venues of every size, from intimate theatres and outdoor festivals to stadium-scale events of up to 20,000 people.

THE TAMBOURINE-DRUM

The Tambourine-Drum gives every participant the power of a drum in a format anyone can play. It leads the first major interactive sequence of the show: the artists split the room into two groups, each playing a complementary rhythm, then build the energy across the entire theatre.

The sequence culminates in the Tambourine Drum Challenge. The audience follows interactive musical video games on the big screen, playing rhythmic patterns that turn music theory into a high-energy collective game.

In minutes, the theatre becomes a giant percussion orchestra, with multiple rhythms moving together as one.

THE SAMAJAM CLAVSTICKS

Every participant receives a pair of these rhythm sticks, created by SAMAJAM as a hybrid of a drumstick and a clave. They are simple to play and produce a rich, crisp wooden sound, letting the entire audience strike, answer, and move through the music together.

They drive the high-energy Cardio Drum sequence and the signature SAMAJAM Musical World Tour, where the artists lead the audience through rhythms inspired by 8 countries and regions, from Brazil and Africa to Cuba, the Middle East, Japan, India, China, and Canada. The theatre becomes a travelling rhythm orchestra.

THE SAMAJAM MUSIC TUBES™

Each participant receives one tuned, color-coded SAMAJAM Music Tube™ that plays a single note: Do, Re, Mi, Fa, or Sol. The theatre is divided into five musical sections, each with its own note and its own role in the melody.

Guided by the artists and interactive musical video games on the big screen, every section must listen, follow the visual cues, and play at the right moment. Together, the audience brings full melodies to life, culminating in Beethoven’s Ode to Joy, with the entire theatre playing and singing along to the music it is creating.

✩ SAMAJAM’s musical video games guide the audience in real time, showing when to play, what to play, and how to build the music together.

✩ Projected on one, two, or more screens depending on the venue setup, they cue each audience section clearly and visually, so every group plays its part at the right moment with the Tambourine-Drum, the ClavSticks, and the SAMAJAM Music Tubes™.

✩ A signature, high-energy SAMAJAM feature, the musical video games are integrated throughout the show, reinforcing each step as the audience follows the artists on stage and brings well-known songs to life as one collective musical ensemble.

✩ No musical skill required.
